Walt Garrison was selected as one of the “50 Greatest Dallas Cowboys” by the Fort Worth Star Telegram, Sunday, October 18, 2009.
Walt Garrison and Friends will take the mic at 7p.m. Known for his entertaining stories and humorous poems, Garrison is a Texan through and through. He grew up in Denton and Lewisville, became a rodeo rider at the age of 12, played for the Dallas Cowboys in the late '60s and early '70s, when the team had eight straight playoff years. A "real" cowboy, Garrison spent time on the professional rodeo circuit during the football off-seasons. His signing bonus with the Cowboys in 1966 included a horse trailer. Garrison was a long-time spokesman for Skoal smokeless tobacco. He recently became the spokesman for the Au Jus served right here at Majesty's. ...And you'll just have to join us to see which Friends accompany Garrison!
Doors open at 6pm.
Program starts at 7p.m.
